The CE Alliance utilizes
external CE quality assurance consultants consisting of representatives from
various disciplines, including medicine, nursing, and pharmacy, as well as
the CME/CE directors from New York Medical College and the University of
Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing. These CE quality assurance
experts provide consultative services several times per year to ensure that
the CE Alliance develops continuing education programs that are practical,
evidence-based, scientifically rigorous, fair-balanced and objective. In
addition, they ensure that the CE Alliance adheres to guidelines set out by
the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), American
Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Accreditation Council for Pharmacy
Education (ACPE), Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and Pharmaceutical
Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA).
