IGIV: Achieving Improved Patient Outcomes, Vol. 1, Issue 1
The Changing Dynamic in IGIV Use

The Changing Dynamic in IGIV Use is the first issue in a 4-part newsletter series, IGIV: Achieving Improved Patient Outcomes. Its goal is to familiarize physicians, nurses, and pharmacists with the latest developments in the field of immune globulin intravenous (IGIV) therapy, its relevance to patient care, and the clinical implications of pharmacologic differences among various treatment choices. This issue focuses on challenges in IGIV availability, evolving use patterns for approved IGIV indications, and current approaches to evidence-based prioritization of IGIV use. A case report highlights strategies for managing IGIV tolerability issues.
