Managing Hyporesponse to Erythropoiesis Stimulating

This 1-hour continuing education CD-ROM and workbook is designed to educate nephrology nurses who care for patients on hemodialysis on the latest clinical advancements in the management of erythropoiesis stimulating protein (ESP) hyporesponse. Among the topics addressed are common causes of hyporesponse to ESP therapy in patients on hemodialysis, identification and management of patients at risk for low hemoglobin (Hb) while receiving ESP therapy, and a systematic approach to effectively achieve and maintain target Hb levels with ESP therapy.
